What Does a Conveyancer Actually Do?
A conveyancer does much more than simply arrange settlement.
We are involved throughout the property transaction to help make sure everything is dealt with correctly and that you understand what is happening along the way.
Depending on the transaction, your conveyancer may:
- Review your Contract of Sale and Form 1
- Prepare or review conveyancing documents
- Liaise with your bank, broker, agent and the other party's conveyancer
- Conduct the necessary property searches
- Arrange adjustments for rates and other outgoings
- Prepare for settlement through PEXA
- Confirm the funds required for settlement
- Attend to the transfer of ownership
- Keep you updated throughout the process
Property transactions can involve a lot of moving parts behind the scenes.
Our job is to coordinate those pieces, protect your interests and make the process as straightforward as possible.
